KEY ROLES TO PLAY

Service Manager

Leading all service team members to deliver an Italian-inspired dining experience – complemented by a great glass of wine, in a comfortable home-like Italian setting, welcomed by people who treat you like family – is the responsibility of the Service Manager. Service Managers are also accountable for ensuring all service team members deliver a competitively superior dining experience that builds loyalty on every shift they work. In addition, Service Managers are responsible for creating an atmosphere in the restaurant that builds energy, vitality, and fun, generating excellent service ratings resulting in positive word of mouth.

Service Manager responsibilities include:

  • Selecting highly-skilled, service-oriented, and hospitality-focused service team members
  • Ensuring service team builds connections with guests, makes great suggestions, and provides strong teamwork
  • Managing the monthly beverage inventory process and completing weekly liquor, beer, and wine orders
  • Executing new beverage product rollouts
  • Creating service team department schedules to ensure delivery on the guest and team member experience
  • Writing and delivering performance reviews and performance counseling in a timely manner

Culinary Manager

To deliver a superior Italian-inspired dining experience to all guests, the Culinary Manager leads the preparation of fresh, simple, delicious Italian food. The Culinary Manager ensures the prompt delivery of great tasting, piping hot food to guests through consistent planning, production, and preparation. In addition, the Culinary Manager is responsible for creating an environment that builds energy, vitality, and fun, resulting in excellent food taste and temperature ratings.

Culinary Manager responsibilities include:

  • Executing all culinary initiatives
  • Selecting highly-skilled culinary team members
  • Meeting food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Managing monthly food inventory process and completing daily delivery of food orders
  • Creating culinary team department schedules to deliver on the guest and team member experience
  • Writing and delivering performance reviews and performance counseling in a timely manner
  • Staffing & Training Manager

    The Staffing & Training Manager is responsible for partnering with the rest of the leadership team to ensure the restaurant operates in a way that creates a superior guest and employee experience while growing sales and increasing profitability. Staffing & Training Managers deliver proper training and cross training occurs for all hourly positions, Certified Trainers, and Culinary/Service Professionals. The Staffing & Training Manager also ensures proper staffing levels are in place to deliver on the guest and team member experience. In addition, the Staffing & Training Manager leads the guest experience and provides shift leadership to all team members in the restaurant resulting in a competitively superior guest experience that builds loyalty.

    Staffing & Training Manager responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the tools and processes are in place to support the sourcing, recruiting and selection of a diverse team of employees for both the service and culinary teams
  • Administering wage management strategy
  • Conducting Certified Trainer meetings
  • Conducting file audits and managing new-hire paperwork associated with Orientation
  • Managing and tracking frontline employee reviews
